The RP1300 & 1400 are large resurfacing machines that are able to handle from the smallest heads and blocks to extra large heads and blocks like CAT C15 and Cummins ISX.

 

The RP850 and 1000 are smaller machines for shops that do not rebuild the large diesel heads.

 

The construction technology combines highly innovative solutions such as linear roller slideways and ball feed screws resulting in maximum accuracy of the machined surfaces. Waviness and Surface Roughness are controlled to a fine tolerance for today’s MLS metal head gaskets.

Comec’s Dual Axis Cylinder Head Fixture allows fast set up and quick leveling of heads resulting in minimum material removal.  

The RP1400 CNC is defined as the “Smart Resurfacer”, thanks to its laser sensor that scans the cylinder head surfaces and records their profile. The CNC determines the minimum material to be removed to clean up the gasket surface.  WATCH this video to learn more!
